From a simple white bean dip to other easy ideas, Registered Dietitian Theresa C. shares three ways to add fiber and protein with beans.

Easy White Bean Dip
Ingredients:
• 1 cup cannellini, or white kidney, beans
• 1 garlic clove
• 2 tablespoons oil (avocado oil or any oil you prefer)
• 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice
(or substitute 1 teaspoon lemon zest + ¼ teaspoon paprika)
• Water, as needed

How to make it:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for about 30 seconds, adding small amounts of water until smooth and creamy.

Serve with veggies or pita chips for a high‑fiber, high‑protein dip that works with just about any meal.
