⭐ Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Army

On June 14, 1775, before this nation even had a constitution, it had an Army. Formed by the Second Continental Congress to defend a dream that had not yet been fully written, the United States Army has stood as the backbone of American freedom for 251 years. From Valley Forge to Normandy, from the Korean Peninsula to the mountains of Afghanistan, soldiers have answered the call in every generation, in every corner of the world, at every hour of need.

251 years of strength. 251 years of sacrifice. 251 years of soldiers who chose to stand between this country and whatever threatened it.

That is not a small thing. That is everything.

To every soldier, past and present, Happy Birthday. Your service is remembered, your sacrifice is honored, and your legacy endures.

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States. What began as a symbol of a new nation became something far greater, a promise of freedom, unity, and the values worth defending. Every stripe represents the original 13 colonies that dared to believe in something bigger than themselves. Every star represents a state bound together by that same belief.

Today, we fly it proudly, not just as a symbol, but as a reminder of what it stands for and the men and women who have defended it throughout our history.

🗞️ Big news out of Naples and we are incredibly grateful.

The News-Press (Fort Myers and Cape Coral) is covering a milestone that means everything to our veterans and our community: the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has committed a $250,000 matching grant to fund the Zulu Project, the renovation of a 10-unit apartment complex in East Naples that will house 20 homeless veterans later this year.

When complete, the Zulu Project will be our seventh residence and will bring us to functional-zero veteran homelessness in Collier County, meaning every veteran here who needs a home will have one.

That goal is already within reach. Since we opened our doors, Warrior Homes of Collier has helped reduce veteran homelessness in Collier County by 88%.

This matching grant means every dollar donated is doubled, dollar for dollar, up to $250,000!

If you have ever wanted your support to go further, now is the moment.

🇺🇸 1 in 20 homeless adults in America is a veteran.

They answered the call to serve this country, and too many have come home without a safe place to land. At Warrior Homes of Collier, stable housing is where the road back begins, from homelessness to hope, one veteran at a time.

Since 2019, we have housed veterans across six homes in Collier County, and later this fall, Zulu House will open, adding 20 additional beds. We are close to reaching functional zero veteran homelessness in our community, meaning any veteran who wants a home will have one.

Our work is not finished. Please support our mission today, because they served our country, now we can serve them.

Thank you for the wonderful shout-out!

Our mission to end veteran homelessness in Collier County depends on strong local partnerships like the one we have with Home Depot

We were thrilled to be part of the grand opening of their beautiful new store in Southeast Naples. Store manager Jan Pabey and the entire team presented us with a generous $5,000 donation to support the Zulu Project, our newest transitional home that will house 20 veterans.

This gift brings us one step closer to opening our 7th residence and helping more local heroes get back on their feet.

Grateful for partners who truly want to make a difference by helping our local veterans.

Founder Dale Mullin’s Opinion Piece in

In his latest op-ed, Warrior Homes of Collier founder Dale Mullin shares why a true “Housing First” approach, combined with strong support services, is essential to ending veteran homelessness.

Drawing from his experience in Collier County, Dale explains how stable housing, paired with wraparound services, gives veterans the best opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity.

🚨 Big News: Warrior Homes of Collier Receives Largest Grant in Our History!

We are incredibly honored to announce that the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has awarded us a $250,000 matching challenge grant, the largest single commitment in our organization’s history!

Once matched by our community, this generous gift will bring $500,000 to complete the Zulu Project. When finished later this year, Zulu House will provide homes for 20 more veterans and help us achieve “functional zero” veteran homelessness in Collier County, meaning every veteran who wants to be housed can be.

“We’re incredibly thankful to the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation for this and all of the amazing support they have given us over the years,” said Dale Mullin, Founder and President of Warrior Homes of Collier. “They deeply understand both the mission and the urgent need in our community to stand behind homeless veterans.”

This transformational support will help us finish strong on Zulu House and strengthen our ability to provide stable housing and wraparound services for veterans who served our country.

Now is the perfect time to give; every dollar you donate will be matched up to $250,000!

💜 A Grateful Thank You to The League Club of Naples!

We are incredibly grateful for the $45,000 generous donation from The League Club of Naples!

This impactful gift will directly support stable housing, rent assistance, mental health services, and wraparound services for veterans in Collier County, helping us continue our mission to end veteran homelessness and keep our local veterans safely housed.

We are proud that 95 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs that house and support our veterans.

The League Club’s commitment to strengthening our community through philanthropy is truly inspiring. Thank you for believing in our veterans and standing with them as they rebuild their lives after service. Your generosity makes a lasting difference.

⚡️ RAPID RESPONSE IN ACTION

Veteran:
Male, Married, Father of two

Case Profile:
When a married veteran and father of two reached out to us, he and his family were facing imminent homelessness.

He was hesitant at first, believing other veterans needed help more than he did. But we knew we could act quickly.

Through our Rapid Response program, Warrior Homes of Collier was able to immediately cover the first and last month’s rent plus the security deposit, getting the entire family safely into stable housing.

Then the community stepped up:
Simultaneously, a longtime donor reached out offering to donate furniture to a veteran in need. With his donation, we were able to help furnish this veteran's apartment. Blue Star Mothers provided food and kitchen essentials.

This is what Rapid Response looks like at Warrior Homes of Collier, moving fast to prevent homelessness and helping veterans and their families stay together and rebuild.

No veteran has to face this battle alone.
