The REAL Story behind South Dale EMS

There has been a lot of talk over the last few months as to the reason South Dale EMS was founded. The truth is, the people of southern Dale county simply got fed up with having to wait for emergency medical services. There have been many instanced where there is a CPR in progress or a person with injuries trapped in a wrecked vehicle waiting for EMS to arrive. Some of those wait times were as long as 40 minutes. When it comes to a persons life, seconds matter, let alone minutes.

Being tired of the citizens south of the river in Dale County not having adequate coverage to provide for its citizens, the citizens got together and created a corporation. They elected a board, appointed a director and got things rolling.

South Dale went live on January 1, 2020. In the first month, the company ran 60 medical calls. That doesn’t really seem like a lot, but when you are running 24/7, 60 calls for a company right out the gate is amazing. South Dale EMS is striving to provide the best Emergency Medical Services for all of Dale County, especially the ones in the southern portion, I mean its right there in our name, SOUTH Dale.

If you live in the Towns of Napier Field, Midland City, Grimes, Pinckard, or Newton you need to get behind supporting South Dale EMS. We are minutes away for situations where seconds count. Go to your town hall meetings and let them know you want South Dale to be your provider. When you call 911, tell the dispatcher that you want South Dale EMS. If you live outside the city limits of any of these towns, tell Dispatch to send South Dale. There is no reason there should ever be someone trapped in a vehicle 40 minutes waiting on a Rescue Crew to get there to help save them. No one should have to do CPR on their loved one for 30 minutes waiting for a rescue unit to get there to help. Especially when in both of these situations there was a rescue team 5 minutes away that could have helped had they been given the opportunity.
