March is Brain Injury Awareness Month!

Boating sober is an excellent way to prevent traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Alcohol adversely effects an operator's ability to make decisions, respond quickly, and keep a proper lookout. Keep yourself, your passengers, and fellow mariners safe by choosing to not drink and drive.

New Connecticut law links Boating Under the Influence (BUI) & Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Penalties 🚨

Beginning October 1, 2025, a new law imposes reciprocal suspension penalties for driver’s licenses and boating certificates if a person is convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) and boating under the influence (BUI). If one is suspended, so is the other!

The goal of this change is to reduce impaired operation on roadways and waterways.
