Good night from little Scarlet! πŸ˜»πŸŒ›
You can hear her motor running!
She's excited for her big day, she has a meet and greet tomorrow evening! ❀️

06/12/2026

Hello from Scarlet!
I have not found a home for her. 😒

It is hard to get a video of her because she wants to be up close and personal. Somebody has to love this baby house panther!!!

06/09/2026

Saturday and Sunday we drove to different locations to return the TNR'd cats from the last run.

I held this little girl back to see if by some miracle I could find her a home, or a rescue willing to take her in during this busy time. Needless to say it's be a rough go these past 4 weeks, and I could really use a win right now! A win for her!

If you are looking for a baby house panther that is obnoxiously friendly & super cute. Here she is!! ❀️
I do not want to hold her too long if she is going to be returned, so please, lets find a home for her. πŸ™ She is 4 to 6 months old.

πŸˆβ€β¬›Lets call her Scarlet!

πŸ’”πŸ’” Sorry to bring such sad news this morning.πŸ’” πŸ’”
πŸ’” πŸ’” Fianna crossed the Rainbow Bridge.πŸ’” πŸ’”

Fianna suffered two significant seizures and passed on my lap. She deserved better. She was loved. I hope she felt that during the short time I cared for her. I am heartbroken. 😿

Thank you to everyone who responded to my last post requesting clinic sponsors! Your generosity is both humbling and appreciated. 🫢
I named the cat pictured in the post Fianna, and here she is getting water. I am trying hard to keep her hydrated. After I had all the cats collected for clinic, I realized she was in pretty bad shape. 😞 She's emaciated, very weak and is suffering with a severe URI. She would not move from her messy trap into a clean one on her own. When I picked her up and placed her in a clean trap, she just laid back down, didn't eat or drink. 😿

The morning of the clinic I contacted Dr. Diane to give her a "heads up" that I was bringing a cat that would likely need to be humanly put to rest. πŸ’” When Fianna was taken out at TVZ she actually started walking around, even had us on the ground trying to retrieve her from under the recovery cages. πŸ˜„ I was shocked to see she was walking, so after some discussion with Dr. D, we decided to give her a chance and see what she can do. We need her to get stronger and bounce back so send all prayers, good vibes, burn some sage .... we need it all. πŸ™
I have been syringe feeding her slurry which she is doing well with, she is on antibiotics of course. I have her cleaned up now and time will tell.

Thanks for sending love for Fianna, and again - thanks to all that donated to sponsor cats to be fixed and help us provide care, when frequent, unexpected situations during TNVR come up. 🐈

Guys, I really need sponsors for the clinic tomorrow. The cat fund is depleted, I have been running "out of pocket" for a bit. I hate asking & have little to no time right now to do any fundraising.
It is just getting too expensive, so if you can help at all....THANK YOU.

I currently have 8 trapped cats, (from Lebanon, Annville and Palmyra) hoping for 10. Tonight I will go out to try again to get an elusive female that is trying to be the death of me. πŸ˜… She needs to be drop trapped and the only real chance is at night and I am already exhausted. (I am so thankful for caretakers that are willing to help with the trapping itself! )

I would much rather be doing fun updates and happy stuff but as you can see, some of the cats have upper respiratory issues and will need additional medication on top of the spay/neuter/vaccination cost. One poor guy is just full of worms, ugh. Only three cats will have their clinic cost paid for by the caretaker (not including any extra care that may be needed). If I can just get a couple of more, it would help.

Tomorrow is The Vetting Zoo. You can put money directly on the Whisker Warriors TNR account with them. They are great that way!
I will also put our Venmo scan code in the comments. Anything at all, even 10.00 helps!

I had a rough week - frustrating situations & some heartbreak, which I will spare everyone, but I just want to remind folks that we (TNR volunteers) often find ourselves in dire situations doing this volunteer work. We are stuck making hard decisions and dealing with so much more than getting cats fixed & vaccinated. 😞

We are sometimes stretched to our limits emotionally, financially and physically.
We always have a plan when doing our clinic runs but they rarely go 'just as planned'. There are usually unexpected situations which arise during hectic clinic time.
While most people we work with are cooperative, engaged and helpful - we do deal with people that are surprising rude, demanding and unreasonable. We tolerate more than we should because we are focused on helping the cats. This becomes quite exhausting.

If you request TNR assistance from any group or organization, please keep in mind, we are giving up our free time (and more) to help, so please be kind to TNR volunteers and remember your situation is only one of many we are trying to assist with. We are doing the best we can.

To my fellow TNR volunteers: THANK YOU for all you do, for all you cope with and for being you! 🫢

This is one of last week's unexpected happenings. He was abandoned at a Dollar General. Took 3 hours to secure him, he was left out of a black ford pick-up. They didn't get the plate and the goons were out of camera range. By some miracle, the friend that adopted Rosie has agreed to adopt him. He will be named Vladimir. She said two abandoned black cats are better than one! 😍
