🇺🇸 Welcome, AAFES Friends!
I’m Glenna Walker. I’m 63 years young and a resignee. After spending more than 22 years with AAFES (November 1985-May 2007), I decided to create this page as a place for former AAFES employees, coworkers, friends, and associates to reconnect.
I chose to leave AAFES before retirement. It was a very personal decision—one I felt I needed to make for myself and my family. I don’t really want this page to be about why I left, but rather about the many years, memories, friendships, and experiences that came along the way.
AAFES was a big part of my life for more than two decades, and I know I’m not the only one who still remembers the people, the places, the crazy days, the good times, and maybe even a few stories we’d rather keep between ourselves. 😂
So I thought, why not make a place for us to find each other again, if you want to be found that is 😂
If you worked for AAFES, whether it was for a few months or many years, you’re welcome here. Share a memory, say hello, look for an old coworker, tell a story, or simply stop by and see who you recognize.
No agenda. No pressure. Just AAFES people talking, remembering, and reconnecting.
🇺🇸 Once AAFES, always part of the story. ❤️
