I will be deleting this page soon due to the election being over. Again, I would like to thank everyone for the support. I could not have done it without you. The likes, shares, reposts, allowing me to place a sign or a banner, and just the well wishes made all the difference. God bless you all.

In 2022, I departed from public office weighing nearly 500 pounds. A short walk from City Hall to my home, a mere half mile, was a struggle that required four stops. This experience was a turning point, prompting me to initiate a journey of self-improvement. Over the past few years, I have made a concerted effort to enhance my physical health, and I am now a better person. Although I still have much work to do, I am proud of my progress. The passing of my father in November served as a poignant reminder of the importance of personal growth and reconciliation. Despite our disconnection for over three years, I was fortunate to have reconciled with him during his final 16 days. This experience, along with other life events, has instilled in me a desire to become a better person, both mentally and emotionally. I aspired to conduct my campaign for City of Mullens Commissioner with integrity and without regrets. I am confident that I achieved this goal, and the outcome was in line with my expectations. Prioritizing self-care is essential before attempting to support others. The enhanced version of myself is a testament to this philosophy, and I am eager to demonstrate the positive changes I have undergone. I congratulate the winners of this election and look forward to working with them. To the other seven candidates who did not win, I want to emphasize that you are not losers. Running for public office is a remarkable achievement, and you should be proud of your passion and dedication. I invite you to share your ideas and goals for the city with me, and I am more than willing to meet with you to discuss how we can work together to drive progress in Mullens. The fact that I received more votes than you does not make me superior to you, and I value your input. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supporters, including my family, community members, and everyone who contributed to my campaign. Your trust in me is a tremendous honor, and I am committed to upholding your expectations.

Tuesday will mark the culmination of five months of hard work, dedication, and meeting with the people of our community. Win or lose, I can honestly say I’ve done the very best I can. Throughout this campaign, I never once spoke negatively about any other candidate, because the way my family and friends see me is far more important than any facade I could create by trying to tear someone else down.
The people of Mullens — whether we always agree or not — are like family. We all know each other, and while we may not interact every day, we still share this town together and want what’s best for it.
If I’m not elected, I will still gladly help whoever is, in any way I can, for the good of our city. The future I hope to see for Mullens may or may not happen, but imagine what could be accomplished if the foundations, committees, organizations, and city government all worked hand in hand. Our town and our people could truly thrive.
In 48 hours, this campaign will be over, but we’ll all still be here — living together, working together, and trying to make Mullens a better place for everyone.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this campaign. If elected, I won’t let you down. And if I’m not elected, I will still continue doing everything I can, alongside anyone willing to help, to make the City of Mullens better for all.
