Revolutionary War Weekend at Mount Vernon - A Call to Arms This is your invitation to participate in the annual living history and opposing forces tactical weekend at George Washington’s Estate at Mount Vernon!

Please note that this page is not managed by or have any association with Mount Vernon The event is to include the following activities (with others to be considered):

• General Washington and General Lafayette on site both days.
• Exact replica of Washington’s campaign tent on display/in use (From the American Revolutionary War Center)
• Opposing Force Battles both days to also include a Sunday

Morning Skirmish
• Camp Life Interpretation for visitors in both American and Crown camps
• Military Medicine interpretation with Dr. James Craik, Physician General of the Army
• Sutlers (in limited numbers) on site
• Department of the Geographer of the Army display and demonstrations
• Display of Period Weapons in the Education Center Lobby – conversation with curators

Our deepest sympathies to our friends and family in the 1st Virginia Regiment on the news of the passing of Marshall Smith. Marshall, Chip and others are the ones responsible for starting the "A Call to Arms" event when it was a 1st Virginia event, and for that we will ever be grateful.
