Rockcastle Ambulance Service has been very active the last couple of days trying to transverse the slick, ice covered roads. We want to send out our heartfelt appreciation to all of our counties volunteer fire services and our road department for your assistance to help us safely provide for our community's needs.

🚨 Road Closure Alert 🚨

Highway 150 is currently shut down between Family Dollar and White Rock Road due to a vehicle versus utility pole accident.

Please avoid this area and seek an alternate route while crews work to clear the scene and address the damaged utility pole.

We will provide updates as soon as the roadway is reopened. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dennis Stewart. Dennis was a wonderful EMT, friend and brother. He always kept us laughing and our spirits uplifted. If any current or past EMS employees have any pictures of Dennis please share them in the comments. I'm sure the family would appreciate them. Dennis made a difference in patients lives and an impact on those that were lucky enough to know him. RIP Dennis, we love you and will meet again someday.
