Reminder:
Early voting days for the 2026 Primary are May 14th, 15th (10am-6pm) and May 16th (7am-3pm) at the Clay Center .

Election day is May 19th (6am-6pm) at the Clay Center and each elementary School.

Montgomery county practices "county-wide voting" which means you can choose from any of these locations to cast your vote.

Here is a sample ballot for the 2026 May primary in Montgomery County Kentucky. Early voting begins May 14th and 15th (10am to 6pm) and the 16th (7am to 3pm) at the Clay Community Center. All County Elementary Schools along with the Clay Center will open May 19th (6am to 6pm). If you have any questioins, please call the Montgomery County Clerks office at 859 498 8700.

Our office will open on a one hour delay tomorrow Friday Feb.27th 2026 so that our staff can celebrate the retirement of Chief Deputy Sonya Bowen Hall . Sonya has dedicated 27 years to the service of Montgomery County citizens and we wish her all the best on her new chapter in life. Our doors will open at 9 a.m. and we encourage anyone that would like to wish her well to stop by tomorrow and share a memory. Congratulations Sonya!!
