Hello everyone! My name is Wes Parker, and I’m running for Mount Airy City Commissioner. 🇺🇸

For those who may be new here, I’m a lifelong Mount Airy resident who truly loves this community. Many of you know me as:

🚒 A Volunteer Firefighter
💼 A Local Business Owner
🏡 A Proud Member of the Mount Airy Community

I’m running because I believe our city deserves leadership built on three simple principles:

I believe in listening to the people of Mount Airy, supporting our first responders, encouraging responsible growth, and making decisions that keep our community a great place to live and raise a family.

Mount Airy, thank you. 🇺🇸

I’m incredibly grateful and humbled to have earned a place on the ballot this November. None of this would have been possible without the support, encouragement, and votes from so many friends, neighbors, and families across our community.

To everyone who shared a post, put up a yard sign, sent a message, or simply showed support along the way, thank you. Your belief in this campaign means more than I can put into words.

Mount Airy is my home. I’ve lived here my whole life, and I care deeply about the future of our city. I’m proud of the conversations we’ve had about service, safety, and common sense, and I’m excited to keep that momentum going as we head toward November.

The work isn’t finished yet. Over the next few months I’ll keep listening, meeting with residents, and working to earn your vote.

❌Elkin Rescue Squad and the Surry County Government Resource Center (Mt. Airy) are only Early voting sites, NOT Election Day polling places.

⚠️Pilot Rescue & EMS and the Surry County Board of Elections Office are Election Day polling places, however, ONLY for voters living within that precinct.

Today was an incredible first day of early voting.

I just want to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who came out to vote. Thank you to those who have put up a yard sign, shared a post, sent an encouraging message, or simply stopped me in the grocery store to say you’re praying for me. It means more than you know.

Mount Airy is home. I’ve lived here my entire life. I care deeply about this community, and seeing so many neighbors engaged in the process reminds me exactly why I’m running.

This campaign has always been about service, safety, and common sense. It’s about showing up, listening, and working hard for the people of this city.
