Mary Kaye Eason - Calcasieu Parish Police Jury District 8

Mary Kaye Eason was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana – and she’s spent her life striving to make it a great place to live and work. A graduate of Sam Houston High School and McNeese State University, Mary Kaye’s 30-year career at McNeese includes roles in both academics and administration. She is a dedicated public servant and has given her time and talents to organizations like the Go Group

(where she headed a committee on quality of life issues in Calcasieu Parish); the Lake Charles Regional Airport Authority (where she’s the longest-serving member of the current board); the Republican Women of Southwest Louisiana (where she serves as a board member and scholarship chair); St. In addition to her volunteerism, Mary Kaye has experience as an elected official, having previously served interim appointments on both the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the Calcasieu Parish School Board. Outside her work and community service, Mary Kaye enjoys spending time with her husband of 37 years – Mike, her two daughters – Kelli Brignac (Blake) and Kristen, and her four granddaughters.
