What an incredible day for Amyra at the Megastar Meet!

Competing against some of the best athletes in the state, Amyra rose to the occasion and delivered an outstanding performance. She captured 1st in the 55m hurdles, 1st in the 200m hurdles, and added a 3rd-place finish in the 70m dash in the small school division.

Her hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit continue to shine on the big stage. We are incredibly proud of the way she represented our team and community. Congratulations, Amyra, on an amazing meet and a well-earned day of success! The future is bright!

Today, KHMS celebrated the retirements of two wonderful ladies who have made a lasting impact on Montrose Community Schools.

Congratulations to K-5 Math Coach Rose McMunigal and KHMS Media Clerk Kendra Wilson on their retirements! Thank you for your dedication, service, and the countless ways you have supported our students, staff, and school community over the years.

You will both be greatly missed, and we wish you nothing but happiness and success in this next chapter. ❤️🎉

This morning, the FOX 66/NBC 25 news crew surprised Mrs. Mitchell and her students with a special award presentation, creating a memorable and exciting moment for everyone involved.

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Mitchell and this well-deserved recognition of the positive impact she has on her students each day.

Free lunch is available to all students Monday–Thursday at the Middle School/High School Cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
