Yesterday morning we had the Rio Hondo River Access Improvement Project Completion Ceremony. This important project will be enhancing access, safety, and connectivity along the Rio Hondo.

Funded through a $477,750 Measure A grant, the project improves connections between the Rio Hondo River Trail, Beverly Boulevard, and Grant Rea Park, creating a safer, more enjoyable experience for pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrians.

Improvements include upgraded lighting, improved pathways, new benches, bike racks, horse hitching posts, shaded seating areas, landscaping enhancements, and a new electronic billboard providing City announcements, community events, and trail information.✂️🐎🌳
