Here is an updated flyer for the Senior Caregiver and Safety Summit, now including the location. I look forward to seeing everyone there. This summit offers an abundance of safety information for our local seniors. We are excited to be a part of the Monroe Aging Consortium and to support this event.

We have officially kicked off our Back to School Drive collection and we need all hands on deck! We have a big, Jesus driven goal this year of putting together 100 backpacks to give away. If you can share this and help us spread the word that would be amazing! We also love support and help from local businesses putting bins out for collection to help us reach more people.

🌸 Support Women & Children in Our Community! 👗👟

Our friends at Paula’s House are accepting spring & summer clothing, shoes, and accessories for women and children from June 2nd to June 9th, between 8am and 4pm daily.

💙 Donation Guidelines:
✔️ New or gently used items
✔️ Clean and smoke-free
📦 Limit: 3 boxes or bags per donor

Monroe Cares Coalition is a grassroots organization committed to providing our community with education, programming, and help navigating resources for those struggling with any mental illness. We are committed to aiding in the prevention, early intervention, and recovery from mental ailments and disorders, modeling hope for an end to stigma and discrimination, and a life free of disparage.

Since May of 2018 we have been speaking out against stigma and discrimination, while engaging youth and adults alike in creative arts, nature, and science programs to support, promote, and teach; unification, healthy coping skills, stress reduction techniques, prevention techniques, and social-emotional intelligence, modeling recovery and hope for an end to stigma and discrimination.

The vision of Monroe Cares Coalition is to actively promote a mutually rewarding relationship where our organization, its members, volunteers, participants, and partners support our community by offering their talents, skills, time, and efforts to cooperatively foster mental health recovery and awareness, while role-modeling inclusion and community togetherness, supplying support to those most suffering.
