CLR 4 Showcases Strength and Readiness in Annual CFT

Demonstrating the physical readiness and combat focused conditioning required to support the Marine Corps mission. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 4 conducted their annual Combat Fitness Test to assess combat readiness and physical conditioning. The event challenged Marines through the Movement to Contact run, ammo can lifts, and the Maneuver Under Fire course. Leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining high fitness standards to support the regiment’s mission across the force. Throughout the test, Marines pushed each other with motivation and teamwork, showcasing the unit’s strong esprit de corps. When we refine the details, we refine ourselves

Combat Logistics Regiment 4, S 6 Communications Section, SMCR Marines continue to uphold the highest standards of discipline and professionalism. During a recent Alpha uniform inspection, the section’s NCO led from the front; reinforcing precision, attention to detail, and the pride expected of every Marine.

This moment reflects more than a routine inspection. It highlights the Marines’ commitment to mastering their craft, maintaining readiness, and embodying the spirit of the Corps. Each Marine stands as a testament to the values of responsibility, accountability, and technical excellence that define the S 6 community.

We will lead by example, On September 2025, Capt Korhorn with 4th MLG, CLR 4, led his team of 10 Marines, on a six mile hike in preparation for a large scale exercise, demonstrating the technical excellence required to plan and execute realistic training. Throughout the movement, the Marines showed firmness and discipline. The shared effort strengthened sprit of the corps reinforcing trust and cohesion across the team. This hike served as a clear example of how deliberate leadership and collective determination prepare Marines for mission success.

We must be technically and tactically sound in everything we do.

Cpl Fluke and Cpl Doran Communication Marines with Head Quarters Marines with CLR4, 4th MLG set up their communications equipment at Freedom Fest on October 2025 to demonstrate how Marine Corps systems enable mission success. Their technical excellence was evident as they operated complex gear with precision for the civilian audience. Through them, they engaged the community, answered questions, and showcased the flexibility behind every communicator. Their efforts strengthened public understanding of Marine Corps operations and highlighted the professionalism expected of today’s warfighters.

Passing the Torch. Continuing the Mission.

On June 26th, 2026 we conducted the Relief and Appointment Ceremony of Sergeant Major Judkins and Sergeant Major Bourgeois, marking both an ending and a new beginning.

We thank Sergeant Major Judkins for his years of selfless service, steadfast leadership, and lasting impact on this unit. We wish him the very best in retirement.
