Our Campaign
We are running for ASUM to represent all students, solve problems, work together to create a shared vision, and increase opportunities to benefit our campus community. Students want to know that they have a student government that looks out for them; we are running for ASUM because we care.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been one of the most distressing events to impact higher education. As ASUM candidates, and as fellow students, we are keenly aware of the disruption to students’ ability to learn and access to services.
We acknowledge that these are unprecedented times that have dramatically changed our daily lives, keeping our campus community safe is of paramount importance. While the uncertainty can be unsettling, we believe that we will get through this together and emerge stronger.
​The global pandemic has emphasized now more than ever how important it is for students to be led by an ASUM President and Vice-President who will support them and advocate for their health and wellness. Having access to resources can make or break an academic career, and no student should have to feel ashamed for asking for help.
