👑 ✨Thursday Reflection

One of the greatest lessons leadership has taught me isn't how to do more.

It's learning when to pause.

This week reminded me that even those of us who love serving others need moments of rest. We often think leadership means always pushing forward, always showing up, always giving more.

But I've learned something different.

Taking care of ourselves isn't stepping away from leadership—it allows us to lead with greater compassion, patience, and authenticity.

As queens, we have the opportunity to model something beautiful for those watching us:
Strength and grace can exist alongside rest.

Today, I hope you'll give yourself permission to pause if you need it.

You can't pour into others from an empty cup.

That's one of the reasons I love serving in my community.

Kindness doesn't have to be complicated.

It just has to be genuine.

👑 Serving as United International Elite Ms. Indiana has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Of course, I love representing the values of Empathy, Equality, and Empowerment. But something unexpected happened along the way.

This title gave me the courage to begin something that had been growing quietly in my heart.

Because You Matter Community.

It's not just a project.

It's not just another social media page.

It's a community inspired by my own journey.

Like so many others, I've spent years caring for the people I love while often forgetting to care for myself.

I'm still learning.

I'm still growing.

And I'm still figuring it out one day at a time.

The truth is...

I needed a place where I felt like I belonged.

I needed someone to remind me that I matter.

When I finally admitted that to myself, I realized there are probably many others who feel the same way.

So my hope is to create a community where we encourage one another, celebrate life's small victories, have honest conversations, and remind each other of two simple truths:
