New non-emergency phone number for Minot Central Dispatch.

Starting today, May 28, the Minot Central Dispatch has a new non-emergency phone number.

The new number is 701-857-1500.

The previous phone number, 701-852-0111, will remain active, but callers using that number will now be connected directly to the Minot Police Department.

This transition will allow callers needing non-emergency dispatch services to bypass a recorded phone tree and help ensure telecommunicators remain available for dispatch-related communications rather than administrative police department calls.

Residents are reminded that in the event of an emergency, they should always dial 9-1-1.
