What’s the deal with Swedish candy? You might have seen it trending in viral videos and wondered why it's so popular.

It’s known for its unique flavor profiles, taste, and textures. Some of the most popular types of Swedish candy are foam, marshmallow-like gummies, chocolate, and salty licorice.

ASI’s Museum Store is one of the best places in Minneapolis to get Swedish candy! We sell gummy mixes from the famous NYC candy shop, Bon Bon, a variety of licorice flavors from Läkerol and others, and so much more. Struggling to find Daim and Marabou chocolate? We’ve got you covered.

New this year, ASI offers an exclusive candy mix custom-created by Confetti Blossom, a Minnesota-based company! ASI staff handpicked two specialty blends available only at our Museum Store: a sweet mix featuring classic Swedish treats, and a sour mix with bold, tangy flavors.

The Påskkärring (Easter Witch) is a secular Swedish tradition that dates back centuries. Today, children dress up with headscarves and painted faces to visit their neighbors to give small gifts in return for candy. At ASI, we celebrate with Easter at the Castle, a day filled with egg hunts, story time with the Påskkärring, and activities for the whole family.

ASI, the museum store, and FIKA Café will be closed on Easter Sunday and will return to normal public hours on Tuesday, April 7. Happy Easter! Glad påsk!
