Happy Labor Day! Minneapolis is a union town, and Minneapolis Public Schools are powered by union labor.

I'm so grateful for the strong & dedicated union partners that build power in our community and support workers who in turn support our students & families. It is such an honor to have the endorsements of MRLF, SEIU, and MFE, and I look forward to working with them on the school board.

Commissioner Engelhart is a fierce advocate for our parks and all the good that comes along with them. Having strong partnerships between the Park Board and the School Board is key to creating a holistic, safe childhood experience for the kids of our city. I look forward to working with him to expand our collaboration!

What an awesome Saturday on Southside! Started the day with a doorknock. Then we had blast at Washburn HS with Council Member Whiting at “Southside We Outside”!

The primary is this Tuesday, August 11th! Make sure to get out and vote for our DFL endorsed candidates!

Look who made the paper! We had such a great time talking to Briana Bierschbach at the Minnesota Star Tribune. Operation Metro Surge showed us the Power of the People can be a light in the greatest darkness. You all inspired me to throw myself into this race!

Thank you so much to Sam and Julia for hosting us for a Family Meet and Greet! We had a wonderful time on Saturday morning in community! No better way to start a weekend than hearing from our MPS caregivers, kids, and staff on their dreams for MPS. The donuts help too!
