💜 One year. $1.2 million. And we're just getting started. 💜

On Stella's 10th birthday, our incredible community showed up in the biggest way. We've now raised $1.2 million toward our $2 million goal, with updated playground designs shaped by disability advocates and families who know firsthand what truly inclusive play looks like.

We're getting closer, but we still need your help to get there. Every dollar brings us one step closer to a place where every one belongs. 💜

In April, Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin stopped by to check in on Stella and the playground she inspired. Crews are set to break ground this year on Milwaukee's first universally accessible and inclusive playground at Kilbourn Reservoir Park. 🐉

Thanks to our incredible community, Stella’s Playground got its birthday wish! Last Thursday, in honor of Stella turning 10, you helped us raise more than $12,000 in a single day — $8,000 in online donations and an additional $4,000 from Potawatomi Hotel & Casino and Admirals. Thank you for your generosity! We are beyond grateful.

With your support, we are now well past the $1.2 million mark and closer than ever to our $2 million goal and making Milwaukee’s first universally accessible playground a reality.

One year ago, Stella turned 9 and a dream was born.
