Sharing an additional traffic update for residents and drivers who travel along Forest Home Avenue.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will resume construction on Forest Home Avenue (WIS 24) beginning the week of March 16, with full construction activities expected to start the week of March 23, weather permitting.

The project runs between 45th Street and Janesville Road. Work between 45th Street and Howard Avenue is largely complete, with only minor lighting and median restoration remaining. Drivers may see short-term lane closures in this area as crews wrap up that work.

Between Howard Avenue and Janesville Road, crews will complete roadway resurfacing, pavement and storm sewer repairs, guardrail improvements, intersection work, and new pavement markings. During this phase, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction within the work zone.
