Milford Homeschool Milford Homeschool is a secular group dedicated to the education and enrichment of our children. We are dedicated to lifelong learning and friendships.

We meet at the Pike County Public Library in Milford on Tuesdays 1pm starting September 2nd for the 25/26 school year. Our Core Values:

Milford Homeschool Group is an inclusive, secular, cooperative learning environment*. We love science and don’t love absolutism. Questions are the meaning of life! We are inclusive of all backgrounds, religions**, genders, colors, shapes, sizes and neuro and phys

ical abilities. We believe in treating children and adults alike with the utmost respect, including physical and emotional boundaries, open communication, and providing a safe environment. We hold nature in the highest regard and hope to be and teach stewards of planet earth. Many of our lessons will be in and focus around the natural world. The human condition is inextricably tied to the treatment of the earth and one another. As such we take a no tolerance stance on bullying, racism, discrimination of any kind, destruction of property or general mistreatment of people, property or creatures. As a cooperative, your inclusion in this group demands that you participate in a meaningful way. That can include leading a session once a month, leading a field trip or another agreed upon task, as discussed with the group leaders. *This co-op is not a replacement for a home school education, but a supplemental group that can enhance some subject learning and increase social activity. No one in the group (unless a noted specialist) can give legal advice in regards to homeschool law or your specific scenario.

**While we are secular, we welcome all religions. We may mention, learn about or celebrate holidays from your religion and others that may be unfamiliar. No one will push or belittle any one religion, but open discussion is welcome.

❄️ Weather Closing Notice ❄️

Due to incoming snow and rain/freezing rain expected later, the library will be closing today to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to travel safely.

📚 A friendly reminder that the Dingman Township Branch will now be opening on Thursday at 11am. We look forward to seeing you then!

👶 And don’t forget to join us for the return of Books & Babies at the Dingman Township Branch, a wonderful time for little ones and caregivers to enjoy stories, songs, and early literacy fun together. Thursday the 5th at 11:00am.

A huge thank you to our local police officers for joining us tomorrow and speaking with the kids about safety, responsibility, and how they serve and protect our community.

Students come ready with questions to learn about what officers do each day, and see firsthand how important teamwork and good decision-making really are.
