The Sheriff on Data Centers:

Data Centers may be THE issue in this year’s county-wide election. You may not think this is in my lane, but it absolutely is and you should know where I stand.

As an individual and life-long county native, it is a serious quality of life issue that has clearly impacted the Adamstown/Buckeystown and devastated local daily life. I signed the petition against the data center expansion because it will have an even broader impact on Adamstown and the Ballenger area.

As your Sheriff, and the one elected official that does care the most about our county, I’ve listened closely to your concerns, attending every community meeting. I have been accessible, available, and personally responsive to the residents of Adamstown in addressing and trying to mitigate the impact of the data center project.

Heavy truck traffic, traffic volume and speed, oversized loads, employee buses routes, and noise complaints have been daily issues of concern in Adamstown.

I’ve worked effectively to address problems and complaints on an almost daily basis. I was able to work closely with the project developers and get them to cover the daily extra-duty/ overtime costs for deputies to handle the traffic enforcement in that area. That cost has been enormous.

The most important thing is that I have listened to you, the residents. My efforts to ease the impact of the data centers for you, goes full circle to my mission as Sheriff and to me personally. That mission is to keep Frederick County safe and maintain the quality of life we know in Frederick. My goal is to keep this county “the land of pleasant living” for everyone. 🇺🇸

Walkersville Vol. Fire Department Sportsman’s Raffle

I had lot of fun as always this past Saturday evening, acting as MC for the annual event. It was a good time for everyone and a really good meal prepared by the members. Many long time loyal supporters enjoyed winning sporting fi****ms, exercising their right to gun ownership. Events like this are an important part of who we are in Frederick County. It was a tremendous event. I look forward to the next one.

National Night Out at Urbana District Park

National Night Out was a huge success for the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office and all of public safety in Frederick County. A good time was had by all.

I was a little rusty on the kickball field, but had a fun time. The kids won the game.

It was a really nice afternoon attending the Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church strawberry festival on Saturday. The crowd enjoyed the great food, music, good conversations under the old oak tree, and the ice cream. This is exactly what we don’t want to lose in Frederick County. It doesn’t get any better.

As I’m walking around talking to old friends, hearing concerns and answering questions that are important, I thought of one question for the citizens of this county.

My opponent hides behind a keyboard, trashing and slandering me with lies simply to get elected. Who do you really want as your Sheriff? Do you want a Sheriff who is always out in a position to protect the citizens he serves and actually enjoys the public, or someone who is not interested in the people of Frederick and certainly is not capable of protecting you? Regardless of political party, do you want someone who will write a “White Paper” or a man who will continue to be a “watchdog” for Frederick County. Easy answer!🇺🇸

This is a side of me you don’t know, might even shock some of you! This is “world renowned” cellist Amit Peled, who performed locally recently with a phenomenal teenage protege. Being the “well-rounded Sheriff”, I will attend a world class cello concert Friday night, shoot sporting clays on Saturday morning, call a gun raffle Saturday night, and wrap up the weekend with a crab feed on Sunday. That’s how “The People’s Sheriff” rolls! 🇺🇸
