Please help keep history alive! Send me all your photos, archives, newspaper articles, bluprints, diaries, notes, letters, postcards, etc. - ANYTHING about The Welsh Hotel. The Hotel was built in 1899 and opened in 1900. Anna D. Welsh Copper funded, owned and operated the hotel, including Welsh Electric, the first gas light plant in the area. She was married to Dr. James H. Welsh, who had passed a few years earlier. L.O.Miller was the builder Anna used and any info on his life, company, blueprints, notes, journals diaries, etc, are of interest as well.
