Happening tonight at 5 pm at the Community Building.

BCMH wants community feedback before determining how the mobile health unit will serve Michigamme.

Baraga County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) is exploring bringing a Mobile Health Unit to the Michigamme community as part of a new rural healthcare model. They’re inviting YOU, the community members to meet with hospital leadership and provide input on where the mobile clinic should go and which services are most important.

The proposed mobile unit could provide services such as:

Primary care
Women’s health
Wound care
Cardiology
Laboratory testing
Select diagnostic imaging

With smoke being this bad, make sure you take care of yourself!!! Limit exposure! If you have to be outside, protect yourself! We all have a few masks laying around from a few years ago. Mask won’t totally help with the smoke, but they will stop you from inhaling ash.
