Hi all,
On behalf of the Committee to Elect Mariano Corcilli for County Court Judge in Miami-Dade County, I am excited to happily announce that we won! The deadline to qualify came and went, and having no opposition, I will take the bench in January of 2025.
I could not have done it without my family, friends, colleagues, supporters, and new friends I made on the campaign trail. A special thanks to all the folks that went out of their way to get me elected: The folks who spent time helping me, who made phone calls on my behalf, who spread the word, who offered guidance and encouragement, as well as the professionals that came on board and shaped my goal into a reality.
Over the next few months, in preparation to take the bench, I will (bittersweetly) wind down the law firm that I have spent over a decade building. The Corcilli Law Firm has not only supported me and my family, but it also provided me an opportunity to develop as an attorney, advocate for my clients, and serve the community. I am so very appreciative of every client that has ever hired me and trusted me to represent them. I am just as appreciative of every professor that has taught me and every lawyer that has mentored me and worked cases with me. A special thank you to every lawyer that I have litigated against - every time I went up against a great lawyer it gave me the opportunity to work hard to get better at what I do. And another special thank you to all the folks who have staffed my firm over the years, including all the law clerks and summer associates.
Finally, a deep thank you to all the Marines I served with: the ones that trained me and led me, the ones that deployed with me, and the young Marines I had the honor to train and lead; the US Rangers I serve with in Gainesville, and every veteran that I worked with to better the world for those veterans that are forever injured by their service.
