More from our Boots & Bling End of the Year Celebration! We recognized people who showed up early, stayed late, solved problems, supported their teams, and took care of students every day. Again, congratulations to the Queens of Q&A, Safety Award recipients, Peer Awardees service honorees, and all those recognized at our Boots & Bling End-of-Year Banquet. While not everyone is pictured, every honoree was celebrated and appreciated. Thank you for everything you bring to Mesquite ISD Food & Nutrition Services.

We kicked up our boots, added a little bling, and closed out another amazing school year in style! Our FNS team came together to celebrate a successful school year. We ate great food from Mesquite BBQ Since 1959, line danced, had giveaways, awards, and laughed to round up the year and recognize the incredible people who make our department so special. Thank you Gilberto Prado, Assistant Superintendent, Finance & Operations for stopping by to share words of encouragement. Thanks to Jennifer Mays, Senior Manager of Development at
Sharing Life Community Outreach for hanging out with us, assisting us with the giveaways and sharing about the wonderful work your organization does for the Mesquite community. Some milestones deserve more than one celebration. On May 28, we honored our FNS retirees with a special event surrounded by family and friends. It was an afternoon filled with gratitude, memories, and well-deserved recognition for the many years they have dedicated to serving Mesquite ISD students. Thank you for everything you’ve done.
