COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 917 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 15 miles northwest of Arden to 8 miles north of Us-190 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line to near Ozona. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mertzon, Ozona, Arden, Barnhart, Water Valley, Sherwood, The
Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163, Us-67 Near The Irion-
Tom Green County Line, Us-87 Near The Coke-Tom Green County Line, and Us-190 Near The Crockett-
Sutton County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 357 and 377.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 835 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles north of Barnhart, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Irion
County.

At 810 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Barnhart to near The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 405 to 9 miles northeast of Terrell County Gas Plant. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mertzon, Ozona, Barnhart, Sherwood, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2083 And Highway 405, The Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163, I-10 Near The Crockett-Pecos County Line, Ft Lancaster, The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 405, and The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 328 and 366.

Arden/853 is passable. There is water across the road at the usual low water crossings, running swiftly, but definitely passable. No other issues going that way.

ATTENTION: Arden Rd / FM 853 at Rocky Creek is flooded. Reports are saying about 2ft of water flowing across the road. Please do not attempt driving thru the water. Be Smart. Be Safe.

TXDoT has removed the tree from Ranch Road 72. The road is clear for two way traffic.

The National Weather Service once again is issuing a Severe Thunderstorm warning likely to affect South Central Sterling County, NW Tom Green County, and Northern Irion until 4:30. Update: the Severe Thunderstorm Watch will be until 11PM
60MPH wind gusts. Hail. Expect wind and hail damage if the storm moves South and hits us.
