Equipment Operator

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift or carry 50lbs

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work extended hours when required ( 8+ hours/day)

• Knowledgeable with different types of fuel

• Experience in the heavy equipment industry is considered an asset

Responsibilities:

• Operates front-end loaders, dozers, backhoes, haul trucks, and other mobile equipment

• Loads trucks and maintains proper quantities of material to be loaded

• Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations

• Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental, and OSHA and MSHA requirements are always followed

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Working closely with a team

Pipe layer and General Laborer

Description:

We are looking for a General Laborer to take up manual labor tasks and support operations on everyday worksites. One of the most important general laborer responsibilities is to collect trash, debris, and other waste to keep the site clean and safe. You’ll also be able to have the opportunity to handle power tools and materials (such as saws and drills). We’d like you to have stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet with you.

Responsibilities:

• Clean-up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material

• Assist Pipe Layer, operator and other Co-workers

• Handle and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)

• Use power tools and machinery

• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)

• Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby

• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures

• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus

• Communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to safety rules

• Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary

Heavy Equipment Operators with at least 1 to 5 year's work experience in commercial construction.Work to include commercial, industrial, and residential site development with a wide range of buildings, parking lots, and streets which also includes sewer and water mains/services, storm drainage systems, and overall site grading and concrete prep. Heavy equipment used in these operations include: Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, Dozers, Scrapers, Graders, Rollers, Skid-Steers, Grade Tractors, etc. Drivers need to have a CDL license, clean driving record, and responsible work habits. Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing. We are a well-established Treasure Valley company with steady growth.
