FYI- for this Friday!

The Menominee County Courthouse will be closing to the public at 12 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 so our employees can participate in an active shooter training being conducted in the building by the Menominee County Sheriff's Office.

FYI - there may be an increased law enforcement presence and activity around the Menominee Courthouse that afternoon due to the active shooter training.

Please stay off the roads. Weather conditions have made travel extremely hazardous. Travel is not advised.

Only the main highways and trunklines are being plowed. Many secondary roads are impassable. Law enforcement response will impacted by road conditions. Deputies are NOT calling tow trucks to remove stuck vehicles.

In the event of an emergency, plows and specialty rescue vehicles may be used to help responders access your residence. Short-term warming centers will be opened if extended power outages occur.

In the event of an emergency, dial 911. For non-emergency assistance, contact the Menominee County 911 dispatch center at 906-863-6614.
