t about last year's maiden tour, passengers barely had a ghost of a chance of filling one of the 13 seats aboard the bus. "The interest in a real ghost tour was overwhelming. I never in my wildest dreams thought that many people would respond." Unlike some Halloween-related events, the tour is not meant to be frightening. The stories are based in local history and feature accounts of alleged paranormal occurrences that have taken place in the twin cities. "The interest in that is beyond what I would have ever thought," said Twork. "We have actual pictures and stories and we throw in the history because a lot of people are interested in the historic aspect. This year's tour promises to be different than the one last year and includes a business on 13th Street that is said to be haunted. "Ghosts are commonly seen in places where emotions were or are extreme," Twork explained. "There was something extreme that happened there that was highly charged emotionally. Since that time there's been paranormal activity." As fascinating as the tour is, the post-tour moments are just as captivating. Twork said he's amazed at the number of people who share their stories after a tour. "We were wrapping up a tour last year and I was thanking people but no one wanted to leave the bus, they all want to stay and either share their experiences or listen to others," he said. "Nobody would get off the bus, they wanted to keep talking. They said, 'we don't want to leave, we want to keep talking.'"
