We had a fantastic turnout at the Western Reserve Masonic Community for this morning’s MCEDC Member Meeting. A huge thank you to our hosts and sponsors for providing such a beautiful setting for our discussion on "Vital Signs for a Healthier Community and a Stronger Economy."

Our Executive Director, Bethany Dentler, led a high-impact panel that explored the critical link between public health and economic vitality. We were joined by an expert panel of leaders who shared their perspectives on building a more resilient Medina County:

- Steve Hambley, Medina County Commissioner
- Colin Johnson, Deputy Health Commissioner
- Jason French, President of Western Reserve Masonic Community

It was a morning of insightful data and meaningful collaboration. We were also thrilled to welcome our newest members to the MCEDC family:

- Brock11 Consulting
- USA Mobile Drug Testing Northeast Ohio
- Wadsworth Square Foundation
- The Interior Design Studio

Thank you to everyone who joined us to help shape the future of our local economy!

Bridging the gap between local industry and the future workforce! 🛠️💼

We recently had the pleasure of coordinating an incredible tour of the Medina County Career Center (MCCC) with the leadership team from Spray Products (located right on Lake Road in Medina).

As a premier contract manufacturer of aerosols and liquid consumer products, Spray Products uses and creates many items perfect for automotive service technicians. This made a partnership with MCCC’s top-tier automotive and diesel programs a natural fit! The teams discussed exciting future collaborations, including student internships, workforce training, apprenticeship preparation, and advisory board participation.

A massive thank you to Steve and Annette at MCCC for giving us a front-row seat to see their amazing faculty, staff, and students in action.

(Bonus: Swipe to see the MCCC’s impressive new expansion! They are currently making a $4.5 million investment that will bring the entire facility to a massive 305,000 square feet! 🏗️✨)
