Thanks to all who came out to visit the Edgmont Township Community Day today!

The Fall Tour of Community Days is similar to the Spring Tour of School Awards Ceremonies in that they all follow the same concept, but each one is adapted to reflect its own unique charm. Edgmont Township follows suit and definitely has a special feel with a special community to go with it! Thanks for letting us be a part of your Community Day and thanks for all you do for the Delco Food Bank cause throughout the year!

Lastly, big thanks to Milo, Luca, Julian, Armond, Niklas, Addison, Alex, John, Zach, and Evan for staffing the booth AND thanks to Beth, Ellie, Jason, Jonah, and Finn for running all of the other Sunday Food Bank errands. Together they all made sure that ALL Sunday Food Bank commitments were fulfilled!

Next Event is Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, PA Community Day on Saturday, September 19th. Hope to see you there!

It was a rainy and wet start, but the Edgmont Township, Delaware County, PA Community Day is up and running strong!

Come say hi if you're looking for something to do this Sunday afternoon. The fair runs at Arasapha Farms until 3PM.

Tomorrow might be the first Eagles Game of the season, but it also kicks off the 2026 Fall season of local Community Day celebrations!

The Delco Food Bank is very excited to be apart of bringing communities together and tomorrow we start the season with Edgmont Township, Delaware County,'s Community Day at Arasapha Farms.

The Food Bank booth will be next to The Friends of Ridley Creek State Park booth from 10AM to 3PM. Those attending please come say hi!

Next week we will be at the Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, PA Community Day at Rosetree Park on 9/19 and then back at the Media Farmers Market on Sunday 9/20. Just a reminder the Farmer Market's food drive is ongoing weekly and has been since 2009!

The Community Day tour will then continue on October 4th with the Media Business Authority/ Visit Media PA Fall Festival!

One day/event at a time however, so hopefully tomorrow will be a fun day for all!

Thanks to the 12 interns that plan to come rotate through to keep the booth staffed throughout the day and thanks to all who contribute and support the Delco Food Bank cause!

We had a great day at the Media Farmers Market last Sunday! Thanks to all who all who came to visit/donate/support to the cause!

The Delco Food Bank booth will return to the Media Farmers Market on Sunday, September 20th from 10-1.

Next Sunday (9/13) however, we will be at the Edgemont Township Community Day at Arasapha Farms. The Delco Food Bank booth will be next to The Friends of Ridley Creek State Park booth from 10-3. It will be a long day , but hopefully a fun day (pictures from last year's Edgmont Community Day are attached).

Donations of Food and School supplies are also accepted all day.

We are very grateful and fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers, interns, alumni, donors, and supporters that continue to keep the food bank running so smoothly that it almost runs itself!

It was a great day at the Media Farmers Market this week! Lots of connections were made and the clients will be very appreciative of the community support!

Special thanks to all who dropped off food and school supplies to help families prepare for the new school year.

Also thanks to Makena, Evan, Alex, Julian, Amalia, Armond, and Gianni for staffing the booth this week!

The school supply drive continues throughout September and will be available for food bank clients as they get settled into the school year. To help facilitate that, the Delco Food Bank booth returns to the Media Farmers Market next Sunday (9/6 from 10-1) to continue the ongoing food and school supply drive. See you then if not sooner!
