Louisiana (offshore) - Petroleum (Oil Sheen)

Satellite surveillance detected a petroleum sheen discharging from an offshore wellhead in West Cameron Block 2, located 1 mile south of the shoreline. The U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Detachment and Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement initiated an investigation to verify containment and operator response.

A commercial tanker truck overturned on a highway interchange ramp and began leaking liquid carbon dioxide. Emergency responders and hazardous materials teams closed the ramp and established scene containment.

Ohio - Chemical Maintenance Vapors

Three maintenance contractors were overcome by chemical v***rs while performing work inside a commercial grocery facility. Emergency responders from the Bainbridge Township Police Department and regional fire departments evacuated the structure and evaluated the workers, who were rendered unconscious before stabilizing.

A Geauga County grocery store was evacuated on Friday morning, Sept. 11, after a chemical mixture created a hazardous substance inside the store, officials said.

Tennessee - Ammonia Leak

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department emergency responders, hazardous materials teams, and fire suppression crews evacuated an industrial facility following an indoor ammonia leak. Responders closed road access, accompanied facility personnel inside to shut off a valve, and monitored atmospheric gas levels until values normalized, recording no injuries.

Firefighters contained an active ammonia leak at Americold Logistics in Murfreesboro after evacuating the building. No injuries were reported, and crews remain on scene monitoring air quality.
