Pack the Pools is back for a second year on Friday, June 19 from 6-8PM – taking place simultaneously at all four of YMCA water park locations and at the new Hutchinson YMCA.

Join us for this a one-night-only group exercise event for all fitness levels that includes:

▪️3 rounds of back-to-back 30-minute water group exercise classes
▪️Several class choices available each round in different pool/lazy river areas.
▪️It's up to you to decide which class you want to jump into each round.
▪️Optional: Earn YMCA 360 points for attending if you make a reservation in advance through the YMCA 360 app (tap schedules > set the filter to one of the participating locations > tap group fitness > scroll to June 19 > tap on Pack the Pools event)

Mothers Day has passed and Fathers Day is upon us, let’s here what The Family Chai has to say about family time at the McPherson YMCA!

We have Jony Chai Jr (4th grade), Noah Chai (1st grade), Jony Chai Sr (Boys Gymnastics Instructor) and Kory Chai (Body Blitz Group Exercise participant) sharing what family time means to them. We cannot thank them enough for how engaged they are with us!

We celebrate our families and we love seeing how connected they are because of the YMCA! Thank you Family Chai for letting us join you! We look forward to many more days with your family!

We had a great time hosting the McPherson Chamber of Commerce’s Coffee Connection this morning. It was nice to share all of the great things happening at the Y with our community leaders.

We are happy to announce that our sauna is now open for business! We thank our mechanics for their hard work on getting it fixed and up and running for all our members!

Better news: our hot tub is running and the temperature for the hot tub is 103.1 degrees and the lap pool temperature is 84.9.

We are fully covered with lifeguards for today and tomorrow!

Happy Summer to all our friends at the McPherson YMCA!!! With summer upon us, we have a few events happening with Summer Sports and Summer Camp, but for those who want to go to the outdoor pools please check them out!

We have 4 amazing outdoor Water Parks throughout the Greater Wichita Association and you should check them out: South YMCA North YMCA Northwest YMCA Andover YMCA

McPherson YMCA would like to stop, remember and honor all who have fought for this country. Tomorrow is Memorial Day and we stand proud by giving thanks to those who have protected us and kept us safe. Please note our holiday hours are from 7am-1pm. Enjoy your holiday with the family!

May is National Water Safety Month and it coincides with the start of the summer swimming season! 🏊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
