Clean air matters—inside and out.

During Air Quality Awareness Week and Wildfire Awareness Month, remember that wildfire smoke can affect indoor air.

Here's how you can protect yourself and your family from wildfire smoke exposure:
• Stay inside if possible. Keep windows and doors closed.
• Avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
• Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated reduces the smoke that can travel deep into your lungs.
• Search for clean air shelters near you at 211info.org.
