Our McKinney Farmers Market at Chestnut Square runs every Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM, but this week we've got two incredible bonus events that make it a morning you truly can't miss. Here's what's happening tomorrow:

⚒️ Blacksmith at the McKinney Farmers Market | 8 AM – 12 PM
Our blacksmith is back and bringing the heat! Watch live iron forging demonstrations using age-old techniques from a true Chestnut Square treasure and dedicated Prairie Adventure Camp volunteer. This pop-up only happens the first and third Saturday of the month!

🏡 Living History | 10 AM – 12 PM
Step into the late 1800s and early 1900s right here in the heart of McKinney! Meet our team dressed in time period clothing, explore our beautifully preserved buildings, and discover how families lived, worked, and built community generations ago. This only happens on the first Saturday of the month, so don't miss out!

Come for the fresh local finds and stay for the history; bring the whole family and make a morning of it!

Our Collin County Museum Patch Quest started today, and we handed out our first patch! Come take a public tour and complete our Patch Quest Scavenger Hunt to collect a limited edition Chestnut Square America 250 patch. Tours start at Dixie's Store. Go to www.chestnutsquare.org or come to Dixie's Store to purchase tour tickets. Tours are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11:00.

Week one of Prairie Adventure Camp is officially in the books! 🌾

There’s still time for YOUR kiddo to join the fun! We have spots available for upcoming sessions running throughout June and July, and we would LOVE to see your little pioneer out here.

Each 3-day session is packed with hands-on pioneer skills, period games, pioneer clothing, and the kind of unplugged summer magic that kids talk about for years.

✨ OUR FIRST EVER CRAZY QUILT SHOW WEEKEND RECAP ✨

What a weekend. What a COMMUNITY. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. The turnout for our very first Crazy Quilt Show blew us away, and none of it would have been possible without every single one of you who showed up, shared the love, and made this event everything we dreamed it could be and more.
