The Center for Fire, Rescue & EMS Health Research at NDRI-USA is conducting a FEMA-funded national study focused on firefighter sleep health, well-being, and behavioral health. Firefighters face unique challenges related to shift schedules and sleep disruption, and this research aims to better understand those impacts while helping develop improved tools and resources to support firefighters and their families.

Today, the McCall Firefighters – Local 4564 will be at Albertsons raising funds for blood cancer research as we prepare for the Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle this March.

We climb alongside thousands of firefighters from across the country through Firefighter Stairclimb / Blood Cancer United to fund life-saving research, patient support, and hope for those facing leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers.

🚴‍♂️📚 Another year, another bike! McCall Professional Firefighters Local 4564 is thrilled to support this amazing kids' reading program by gifting a brand new bike! Huge thanks to Gravity Mountain Sports for their invaluable collaboration and support. This initiative beautifully combines the joy of reading with the excitement of cycling, encouraging kids to not only turn pages but also explore the world on two wheels. Every book read and every mile pedaled is a victory, bringing smiles and sparking imaginations. Here's to many more years of inspiring journeys, fueled by the love of reading and the thrill of adventure. Oh, and Sparky was there handing out high-fives! 🎉📖
