I've learned a lot of wonderful things on this campaign trail. There are so many interesting people and organizations that you either reach out to, or that reach out to you, along the way. I've tried to share the experiences and knowledge I've gained from them on my social media, and I will continue to share the things I've learned from these great organizations and individuals that can benefit all of us.

One of those organizations that I've had the privilege of getting to know is TLR (Texans for Lawsuit Reform). Going into this election, I have to admit that I knew almost nothing about TLR. I'm so grateful to have become acquainted with them during this campaign.

They have done a tremendous amount of good over the decades for the people of the great state of Texas by being champions of tort reform. The more I learn about them, the more I appreciate all they have accomplished. They have been doing this important work since the mid-1990s and continue to do so today.

Most people, like me before this campaign, have probably never heard of them. I encourage everyone to look into TLR and learn about all the good they have done for our state. So often in life, the most humble people and organizations quietly do so much good for others, and I would definitely put TLR in that category.

I would simply like to take a moment to say thank you to them and recognize them for all the fine work they do for the people of Texas. I am truly grateful that this outstanding organization endorsed me and supported our campaign. I feel deeply honored and sincerely thankful for their support.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting with the Charter School Association. It was a great learning experience, and I enjoyed visiting with them and learning more about the important work they are doing. They are making a real difference for students and families.

I believe it is important to listen to experts in their fields and to craft policy and make decisions based on thoughtful research and insight. The best way to serve our constituents is by taking the time to listen and learn.

Having an open door to all our constituents starts by knocking on their doors and listening to them. Not only will they share their concerns, but many times they also offer common-sense solutions. Public service is about listening, learning, and working together to make life better for the people we represent.

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

As we begin a new week, I had the opportunity to have lunch today with someone deeply involved in the political process here in Texas and in the Rio Grande Valley. I also participated in a morning conference call with a business group representing many others in the same industry. Both conversations made for an informative and productive start to the week.

These meetings reinforced something I strongly believe: it is important to listen. We learn from our constituents about the challenges facing the RGV and our state, and we work together to find common-sense solutions that make a real difference. Good public service begins with listening, learning, and having the desire to solve problems.

During the primary campaign, I knocked on countless doors and heard directly from the people of District 41. I listened to your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for our community. I call that approach "RGV First."

In the coming months, I will continue reaching out to hear your concerns and your solutions so that I can better serve you. And when elected, I will maintain an open-door policy because public office is about working for the people and serving the people.

RGV First. That's how we work together to build a better future for our families, our communities, and our great state.

God bless, and have a great week!

Happy Sunday, friends! ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

As we gather with family, friends, and our church communities, let us take a moment to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His endless love, mercy, and the many blessings He pours into our lives each day. No matter what challenges we face, we can find peace and strength knowing that God is always with us and His plans are greater than our own.

Today, let us be grateful, remain steadfast in our faith, and continue to be a light for others through kindness, compassion, and service.

๐Ÿ“– Bible Verse of the Day:

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." โ€” Psalm 107:1 (NIV) โค๏ธ

God bless you and have a blessed and joyful Sunday! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today I had issues with my WiFi connection because my router malfunctioned. Fixing the problem involved both AI and human assistance. Not having WiFi was a total disaster. During the experience, part of me kept thinking about how dependent I've become on the Internet of Things. Technology is wonderful when it works well, but it can be such a disaster when it malfunctions.

At the end of the day, it required human expertise to solve a complicated issue. I increasingly believe that AI should make our lives easier, but it shouldn't replace human beings. A good example would be smart trucks that have the capability to drive themselves. They shouldn't be completely driverless, but rather designed to assist a human driver.

Dealing with AI while trying to resolve my WiFi issues felt frustrating and, at times, useless. Working with a human to solve the problem worked much better. In the end, I feel that if AI had simply guided me to the right person from the start, the experience would have been far better.

Working together whether it's AI and humans, or humans helping other humans always seems like the better way to go in life.

Thank you, Sergio, for your kind words and for running a hard-fought campaign. Campaigns can be challenging, and anyone willing to step forward and serve their community deserves respect.

I appreciate your support and your commitment to helping stop the extreme progressive policies that threaten our values and our way of life. While we may have been opponents during the election, we are all neighbors who care deeply about our community, our state, and our country.

I wish you, Belsy, and your family nothing but the best. Thank you for your service to our community, and I look forward to working together wherever we can to help keep Hidalgo County and Texas moving in the right direction.

God Bless you, and God Bless Texas. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Recently, companies involved in AI have been booming on Wall Street. The AI revolution isnโ€™t coming, itโ€™s already here. The entire world is embracing artificial intelligence, and itโ€™s important that, as public servants, we understand both the opportunities and the challenges it presents.

AI is going to play a pivotal role in our lives. It should be used to help people, not replace them. We must approach it thoughtfully and responsibly in a way that benefits our state and the communities we call home.

As your State Representative, I am determined to ensure that AI works for the people of Hidalgo County and Texas, creating opportunities while protecting the values and livelihoods of our communities.
