🚌💛 Happy Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 💛🚌

Today we want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing bus drivers! Rain or shine, early mornings and late afternoons, they safely transport our students and are often the very first smile our kiddos see to start their day.

Their patience, dedication, and care do not go unnoticed. They do so much more than drive a bus—they build relationships, provide encouragement, and help keep our school running smoothly.

We are incredibly thankful for each of our bus drivers and the important role they play in the lives of our students and families.

Thank you for all you do for Maynard School District! We appreciate you more than words can say! 💛🖤

This was shared earlier, but we wanted to send out another reminder—testing begins next week!

If at all possible, please make every effort to have your students here on all testing days. Our time for make-up testing will be very limited this year, so attendance is extremely important.

Through this program, students can get a head start on their future and leave high school with many of these college classes already completed—saving both time and money while working toward a degree in a growing and essential field.

🏗️🌅 Exciting things are happening at Maynard High School! 🌅🏗️

Construction has officially begun on our new Junior High building, and we could not be more excited! This project has been much needed, and seeing it finally start taking shape is something our students, staff, and community have looked forward to for a long time.

There’s just something special about looking out this morning, seeing the sunrise over the construction site, and realizing all the great things ahead for our students. It’s hard to look at that view and not smile!

The future is bright at Maynard, and we are proud to continue building opportunities for our kids. 💛🖤

The week came to a magical close Saturday night with a “Night of Enchantment” at Once Upon a Prom! ✨

The 2026 Junior/Senior Prom is officially in the books, and it was a night filled with smiles, laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories. It was truly a special evening for our students!

Congratulations to Nevaeh Smith on being crowned Prom Queen and Dewell James as Prom King! 👑

Thank you Mrs. Vandergriff for making such a magical night possible for our students.
