Overnight Lane Restrictions, Rolling Roadblocks Planned June 10 & 11 on I-69 in Graves County
Rescheduled work between Exits 24 and 25 at Mayfield
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 5, 2026) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to implement overnight lane restrictions and intermittent rolling roadblocks on June 10 and 11 on Interstate 69 in Graves County to facilitate roadway equipment installation.

The work zone is on I-69 at mile point 24.2 between Exit 24 (KY 121) and Exit 25 (U.S. 45) at Mayfield. (NOTE: This work was rescheduled from June 4.)

The work is scheduled to take place nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. It will impact northbound traffic on Wednesday, and southbound traffic on Thursday.

Motorists should be prepared for one-lane traffic in the work zone and possible delays. Law enforcement will be on-site to assist with traffic control during intermittent rolling roadblocks, when slowed or stopped traffic is likely.

Please use caution where workers and equipment are along the roadway near traffic flow.

PADUCAH, Ky. (June 4, 2026) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will be wrapping up work tonight, Thursday, June 4 on northbound Interstate 69 in Graves County at mile point 23.2.

This is between Exit 22 (KY 80) and Exit 24 (KY 121) at Mayfield.

Expect overnight lane restrictions and intermittent rolling roadblocks, when slowed or stopped traffic is likely, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This will impact northbound traffic only. Law enforcement will be on-site to assist with traffic control.

NOTE: There will be no work zone on northbound I-69 at mile point 24.2 tonight. This work will be scheduled later.

Closure Planned June 5 on Southbound Off-Ramp at I-69 Exit 25 at Mayfield for Milling and Paving
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 3, 2026) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to temporarily close the southbound Interstate 69 off-ramp at Exit 25 (U.S. 45) at Mayfield, starting at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to mill and pave the southbound Exit 25 off-ramp, which is near I-69 mile point 24.9.

Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes.

The ramp is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Friday.
