Spent this morning honoring and remembering our service members who have died. Thank you to Joe Barr American Legion Post 194 for planning and organizing today’s parade and memorial service. It is a privilege to be part of the events. 🇺🇸

Hopefully this is a big misunderstanding! Can you help locate the missing America250 rocks?

📣‼️ Mason Mile friends — we could use your eyes and hearts.

Our Mason Mile Rocks group placed 45 patriotic rocks at the American Legion as a tribute to our veterans. These rocks were lovingly painted by community members of all ages.

Unfortunately, they’ve gone missing.

We’re hoping this was a misunderstanding and that someone may have picked them up without realizing their purpose.

If you’ve seen them or know anything, please let us know. We’d simply love to have them returned to the Joe Barr American Legion Post 194 or Mason Deerfield Chamber so they can continue to honor those who served our country.

Thank you. ❤️🤍💙

UPDATE on this weekend's events honoring our armed forces who died in the line of duty. Due to the weather forecast for Monday, we have decided to cancel the community picnic originally planned to happen after the annual Memorial Day Ceremony led by the Barr American Legion Post 194. The ceremony will happen rain or shine inside the Mason Municipal Center, and it's always a beautiful tribute.

It was a privilege to speak at Monday night's ceremonial reading of the Declaration of Independence. Thank you to ICRCTV for recording and producing a video of the event, and to the staff of City of Mason, Ohio - Government who organized and coordinated all the details, including each of the readers.

This event was Councilmember Burrell's idea, and I told him later I was surprised at how moving it was. Here's the video for those who weren't able to attend (there were so many events happening in Mason at the same time on Monday!)

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I walk you through what's on our agenda for Monday's city council meeting and how to watch the meeting, even if you don't attend in person!

Update on data centers in the city! Our planning commission met last night and approved a zoning amendment that would specifically ban large scale data centers in all of our nonresidential zones. I expect this to be on our council agenda on Monday.
