❗Mailing your ballot on Election Day could be too late to count❗

A new USPS procedure may delay postmarking for ballots mailed more than 50 miles from certain regional hubs. Ballots dropped in mailboxes or at post offices in these areas may not be postmarked until the next day, making them ineligible if mailed on Election Day.

To ensure your ballot is counted:
⚫Mail early: Send your ballot at least a week before Election Day.
⚫Ask for a hand postmark: If it’s close to the deadline, go inside the post office and request a same-day postmark.
