Southside Survivor Response Center, Inc. is encouraging community members to support local nonprofits through the Belk Charity Sale on Saturday.

The sale is taking place at Belk, located at 240 Commonwealth Blvd. W. in Martinsville.

Customers can purchase a $5 charity ticket through Southside Survivor Response Center or at the store.

The ticket includes a $5 discount on a purchase, effectively offsetting the ticket cost, along with a stackable additional 25% off coupon.

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit local nonprofit organizations.

Southside Survivor Response Center representatives will be available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the men’s entrance.
