I congratulate Judge Kirkpatrick on his victory Tuesday night, and wish him God’s blessings as he enters into this new chapter of West Virginia history. Our rule of law requires that one person win in any election, and the process is preserved when people sacrifice much to run for office and voters preserve our freedom to choose when they participate.

I have been so touched that 44,435 West Virginians believed in our campaign for Supreme Court. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. My hope is that our campaign will be remembered as one that resonated with over 20% of the electorate in a 5-person race dominated by politically-motivated money flow. I am honored to have spoken for the working-class voters of West Virginia who want to see our Supreme Court returned to the people of West Virginia, not the Good Ole Boys. Our Court should always rise above partisan politics, and we kept our focus on this throughout the campaign. We will continue to make a difference, and I am blessed to have participated in this race.

May God continue to bless our great State of West Virginia.

Celebration of National Law Enforcement Week

Court Security engages in the flag raising ceremony every morning at the Berkeley County Judicial Center. This is of respect and honor for this display of respect open to the public.

It was even more meaningful for this particular morning.

Along with other speakers, Judge Faircloth gave brief remarks to those in attendance, emphasizing the need for recognition, awareness, and prevention of child abuse - often driven by drugs.

After the ceremony, Judge Faircloth thanked Court Security for their service.

"I am honored every day that I step into the Berkeley County Judicial Center as a circuit judge. You brave security marshals and Sheriff deputies protect the rule of law, with your lives, just by wearing the uniform. If it were not for you , none of the judges would be safe — nor any of the litigants who appear before us. My admiration and appreciation for each one of you grows every day. God bless our State and those who defend and protect it."

As this campaign season comes to a close, I want to recognize this time as National Police Week. Our law enforcement officers and agencies deserve respect and appreciation for their daily sacrifices. God bless all LEOs. Thank you for your service.

Listen: Judge Laura Faircloth smacks down on partisanship in the judiciary.

Laura Faircloth is the only Independent running for the Supreme Court.

Laura Faircloth is the only candidate who is not beholden to either political party, and she believes that all judges should check their politics before entering the courthouse and before the robe goes on.

Laura Faircloth does not make political promises on hot-button issues. She interprets and upholds the law with fairness and common sense.

Laura Faircloth will put the Fair in Faircloth if you put Faircloth on the Supreme Court!

As we are gearing up for election day, I stopped by Calhoun County today to speak at their meet the candidates event. I am so grateful to have spent the last few months traveling across our wild and wonderful state to meet so many incredible West Virginians. I am hoping to put the Fair in Faircloth on the Supreme Court if you give me the honor and privilege of serving as your next Supreme Court Justice.

Please vote Laura Faircloth for Supreme Court on Tuesday, May 12th!

Judge Laura Faircloth is the only woman running for the West Virginia Supreme Court. The current makeup of the WV Supreme Court is a 4-to-1 male-to-female ratio, and all of those men, but one, were first appointed by a Governor.

Every other candidate in Laura Faircloth's division, who is a Judge, was either first appointed by a Governor or unopposed - they've never had to earn your vote and it shows.

Laura Faircloth would add another female perspective to West Virginia's highest court as a mother and a grandmother.

VOTE LAURA FAIRCLOTH FOR SUPREME COURT TO PREVENT ANOTHER GOOD OLE BOY FROM JOINING THE GOOD OLE BOY CLUB.

Election day is May 12th. Early voting ends Saturday, May 9th.

I was blessed to spend time in Harrison County at their Chamber of Commerce Meet the Candidates.

The current West Virginia Supreme Court has a makeup where 4 out of 5 current Justices are from Southern West Virginia. I am from the Eastern Panhandle, and I would be honored to serve our entire state while giving more geographical equity to our Supreme Court.

Harrison County, you can count on me for fairness, independence and justice. I will put the FAIR in Faircloth, if you put Faircloth on the Supreme Court.

WHY VOTE THIS MAY 12TH? Because you have the opportunity to stand up to the Good Ole Boys system and return the West Virginia Supreme Court to We The People.

I’m Laura Faircloth. I am one of the least funded of any of the 5 candidates for Division 1 WV Supreme Court. And that is ok. I am the only candidate who is not beholden to a political party, and the only candidate who has never been an appointee by a sitting Governor. I became a Circuit Judge because I was originally elected by the people in my 2016 very contested judicial race in the (then) 23rd Judicial Circuit of West Virginia.

I’m the only woman running. That’s important for two reasons. One is that I am a mother and a grandmother, so I bring that significant perspective to the Supreme Court. Second, I am NOT a good ole boy, never have been, never will be. They didn’t send me an application for the club. By not being one of the good old boys, I am distinguished from the people running in my Division all of whom hold their current judicial positions as the result of a governor having appointed them.

Finally, the current West Virginia Supreme Court has a makeup where 4 out of 5 current Justices are from Southern West Virginia. I am from the Eastern Panhandle, and I would be honored to serve our entire state while giving more geographical equity to our Supreme Court.

Fundamentally, our founders created the greatest experiment on earth for a republican form of government voicing the will of the people in all three branches. The judicial branch is mentioned last in the U.S. Constitution because it’s supposed to be the fairest. It’s one of the checks and balances put in place. The judiciary is the final guard of liberty for the people, and we need to take that seriously.

Nobody owes me a favor. Nobody owns me. And nobody can deny my experience, reputation, and ability. I stand for the Constitution, not a political party. You can count on me for fairness, independence and justice. I will put the FAIR in Faircloth, if you put Faircloth on the Supreme Court.

I'm not a good ol' boy, never have been, never will be. You can count on me for fairness, independence and justice. Vote for Laura Faircloth in 2026.
