🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET • 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11 🇺🇸

Today, the Town of Lincoln Fire & Rescue Department pauses to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the courage and resilience that emerged from one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.

Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, thousands of innocent lives were taken, and countless first responders courageously ran toward danger in service to others. Their sacrifice, bravery, and commitment to duty continue to inspire firefighters, EMS providers, law enforcement officers, and citizens across our country.

As we mark this solemn anniversary, we remember those who never came home, honor those who continue to carry the weight of that day, and reaffirm our commitment to service, preparedness, and community.

Please join us in taking a moment to reflect and remember.

A great night of training for Lincoln Fire & Rescue with a tour and building familiarization at Nasonville Dairy.

Getting our crews inside local businesses before an emergency happens is incredibly valuable. It gives us a chance to see the building layout, identify potential hazards, locate utilities and access points, and talk through how we might approach different types of incidents.

The more familiar we are with a facility ahead of time, the better prepared we are to make good decisions when every minute counts.

A big thank you to the Nasonville Dairy staff for taking the time to show us around and answer our questions. Training like this helps us better serve our community.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue completed some fire ground training in early August. This consisted of ladders, search, second floor entry/egress, and more. Thanks to the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department for allowing us to use the training center.
