Public Hearing: AUTHORIZE FARM VENUE EVENTS ONLY AS AN ACCESSORY USE CONDUCTED ON THE SAME LOT AS PERMITTED PRINCIPAL ACTIVE FARM OPERATION IN THE R-1, R-AG-1, AND HD ZONING DISTRICTS; REQUIRE A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN THE R-1 DISTRICT AND MINOR SITE PLAN REVIEW IN ALL 3 DISTRICTS;
DISTINGUISH FARM MARKETING ACTIVITIES AND PERSONAL
NONCOMMERCIAL GATHERINGS FROM REGULATED FARM VENUE EVENTS; ESTABLISH PARKING, OPERATING-PLAN, REVIEW, AND EXISTING-RIGHTS PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDE A LIMITED, NONRENEWABLE 90-DAY TRANSITION FOR QUALIFYING EVENTS BOOKED BEFORE INTRODUCTION, SUBJECT TO APPLICATION, NOTICE, AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our School Supply Drive, and the Committee Members who helped organize & pack it all up, and a big shout-out to Crisan Marie (sorry, I didn't get a pic) of the MES PTA, & her son, for picking up the items and getting them to schools. We appreciate how much our PTAs do for the entire community!

It's been 25 years since that fateful day of September 11, 2001. Today we remember those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in a field in Shanksville, PA. Our thoughts are with those who still struggle and with their families.
