Dispose of medications safely at Keep Cobb Beautiful's Medication Disposal Event Saturday, October 24 from 10 am - 2 pm at three locations across Cobb County (including on of our libraries!):

• Police Precinct One, 2380 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw
• C. Freeman Poole Senior Center, 4025 South Hurt Rd NW, Smyrna
• NEW - Mountain View Regional Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta

Your bathroom cabinet called. It wants its space back.
And honestly? That unused bottle of ibuprofen that expired 2014 has had a pretty good run.
Clear the clutter and dispose of your meds safely at the Keep Cobb Beautiful Medication Disposal Event, taking place Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at three locations across Cobb County:

• Police Precinct One, 2380 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw
• C. Freeman Poole Senior Center, 4025 South Hurt Rd NW, Smyrna
⭐• NEW - Mountain View Regional Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta (located around the corner from the previous location.)

As part of the DEA National Take Back Day, Keep Cobb Beautiful collects prescription and non-prescription pills, liquids, ointments, creams, vials, patches, and pet medications, keeping them out of our waterways and reducing the risk of harm to humans as well as wildlife.

Staff and law enforcement will be present at all locations to collect medications in accordance with federal law and with respect to patient privacy. Please visit our Medication Take Back Day page for more details, including what is and is not accepted.

✨ A little Practical Magic came to North Cobb Library this October! ✨

Inspired by Alice Hoffman’s beloved book series, our Practical Magic at the Library event was an enchanting evening filled with creativity, autumn charm, and a touch of everyday magic.

Guests created fresh herb broomsticks, dried flower luminaries, and charm necklaces, while our Owens-inspired conservatory greenhouse offered the perfect backdrop for a photo op.

Attendees also tested their knowledge with book and movie trivia, with special bookmarks designed by our library staff awarded as prizes!

A special thank-you to Mostly Mutts for joining us and bringing along their sweet kittens looking for loving homes.

Thank you to everyone who came out to share in the fun and make the evening so memorable. We’re grateful for a community that embraces creativity, connection, and a little seasonal enchantment! ✨

Pumpkin painting success 🎃

A big thank you to everyone who came to our annual Pumpkin Painting program at Gritters Library! Over 50 people came to showcase their art and celebrate the season with other community members!
